Flamenco interpretation of the classic drama by Federico Garcia Lorca. The National Ballet of Spain is first shown arriving at the dance studio, making up and rehearsing, dramatizing the technique by which they transform themselves into a unified dance company. The story of murderous passion and revenge is told entirely through dance without dialogue. A young bride runs off from her wedding with a married lover. Her jilted husband tracks them down and fights a knife duel to the death.
